About HIVA

HIVA specialises in academic and policy-oriented research. It is a multidisciplinary research institute which is associated with K.U.Leuven.

Partners and networking

We collaborate actively with social organisations, governments and businesses. We also work together with other knowledge centres at our university and elsewhere. We participate in numerous national and international academic networks and we enjoy close relationships with similar university research centres in Belgium and abroad.

Training

HIVA seeks to translate its research work into a broader offering of education and training. To this end, it organises conferences and study days. HIVA researchers are also regularly invited to participate as speakers in external training initiatives.
